Well the subject says it all. Every day on the news I seem to always hear about yet another laptop battery recall, and the battery seems to always be made by psoni. What do you all think of this? I'm not familiar how batteries are manufacturer but it always seems that psoni isn't doing something right to have computer makers always recalling their batteries. Do you think if this continues will computer companies have to go to someone else for their batteries? I'd be afraid to buy a laptop now days in fear it would catch fire. Dell must of just started using psoni batteries because my laptop which was bought in 2002 has a samson battery.

i'll second that. i've a sony battery sitting in my drawer waiting to be replaced, and my acer is currently batteryless, working fine on power. mm, must do something about that at some point
